Artist's Statement

Originally I had no artist statement for this – the title spoke for itself and it was inspired by completely losing myself and "dancing like no-one was watching" mainly. It wasn’t until I looked at it again one day, 10 years later, and realised, almost prophetically, that I had painted my teenage son!
