Artist's Statement

A complex and beautiful symphony starts by planting a seed represented by a single musical note. A collection of notes then in turn become rooted into the garden of our knowledge and experience to create melodies and arrangements forming hills of musical lines and rhythms. Through the nurturing care of musicians, those roots blossom into a variety of musical instruments (coloured in accordance with my music-colour synesthesia) through which sounds grow and harmonise with each other, filling the air with the energy and power of music - our universal language.
