Artist's Statement

In musical composition, an earthy brew of sounds, rhythm, tempo, dynamics, melody, harmony and texture swirl together in a complicated dance, searching for their rightful arrangements in relation to each other.
It is not always clear as to how the complex interplay works between these elements, but eventually there comes a point of enlightenment, allowing the quagmire to morph into the piece of music it was always meant to be, with a structure and form of its own, before taking off into the blue.
